The deck was inspired by Piatnik’s trappola circa 1900 - here with French suits, but the court cards hold the Italian suit-signs in their hands (spades = swords, clubs = batons, diamonds = coins and hearts = cups). The artist has signed, dated „18 MAY 1990“ and inscribed the deck as „A.P. 3/3“ (A.P. = Artist’s Proof).
TOGETHER WITH a large hand-colored sheet (510x275 mm) showing all court cards and aces, the title card and 3 different jokers (folded 2 times horizontally, the pictures not touched). The back of the title card somewhat damaged, almost mint.
